This rental market is maddening! Can't catch a break!

Another rent increase, seriously? How is anyone supposed to afford $2800 for a bachelor unit?! I’ve viewed 15 places this week and they’re all gone within hours. Just got outbid again! This market feels impossible, and I’m beyond frustrated with the whole situation!
