Life in Leslieville - Opinions?

I’ve been looking at rentals in Leslieville and I’m curious about what kind of amenities most places offer. Are utilities included in the rent usually, or do you end up paying for that separately? Also, how’s the vibe there? Is it too quiet at night or are there enough spots to hang out?
