Apartment hunting vent - exhausted and defeated

Just need to vent real quick about the ridiculous competition I'm facing! Every good listing I find gets snatched up before I even have a chance to book a viewing. It's exhausting, and I'm seriously starting to lose hope. Anyone else feeling burnt out from this whole process?
