Need parking advice for renting in Downtown Toronto

I'm looking at places in the Downtown area, specifically near the St. Lawrence Market. I've found a nice one-bedroom for $2200, but I'm worried about the parking situation. How much extra should I expect to pay for parking per month? Any tips on neighborhoods with better parking options?
