Confused about heating clause in my lease in Scarborough

Hi everyone, I'm renting a 1-bedroom in Scarborough and my lease has a clause that says I’m responsible for maintaining the heating system. Is that normal? I thought landlords were supposed to handle that. The rent is $1,750/month. Any advice would be appreciated!
