Need advice on heating issues in my January rental

I'm currently renting in Leslieville and my apartment has been freezing! I've talked to my landlord multiple times, but he keeps insisting the heating system works fine. It's been weeks with no real solution. Anyone else face this? How did you handle it? Am I being unreasonable?
