Reality check - Landlord wants to enter weekly for 'inspections'

My landlord just told me he wants to come into my condo every week for 'inspections' to check on things. I've never rented before, so I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. Are there any legal limits to how often a landlord can enter? Red flag or no?
